Doug was born and raised in Athena on a farm. After graduating from OSU in 1975, he came back to John Smith and Beamer, the family farm, in 1977 before obtaining his insurance license in 1982. Doug formed a partnership with Wheatland Insurance in 1986 to provide life and health insurance offerings to their property/casualty clients. He married his wife Janet in 1975, they have four children and 6 grandchildren so far. Doug feels it is a privilege to handle the insurance needs of their Eastern Oregon/Washington clients by providing the information they need to make their best decision.

Mary was born and raised in Eastern Oregon and graduated from Oregon State University. She joined Wheatland Financial Services in 2011. Mary is married and spends her free time raising 3 active teenagers. She currently specializes in group health insurance and enjoys helping her clients navigate the insurance world to find the ideal plan to meet their business needs.

Meeting new people and developing a relationship with his clients are the highlights of each day for Richard. After graduating with his Bachelor of Science in 2000, Richard spent the next thirteen years in the education field. He draws on these skills to help his clients understand their insurance options and make the best decision based on their unique needs. Richard livesd in Pendleton with his wife and three daughters. An avid sports fan, he plays basketball and softball in the local community. Richard enjoys getting outdoors in Eastern Oregon to fly fish, backpack, and be on the water.

Chris grew up in Pendleton, graduated from Pendleton High School then attended Oregon State University graduating with a degree in Business Finance. Chris started his career as a Claims Adjuster and Marketing Representative, spent 15 years in the Sales and Business Development field, before pivoting back to the Insurance world. Chris enjoys helping people grow their businesses as well as helping individuals better understand their own health insurance needs. Chris, and his wife Karen moved back to Pendleton in 2003 to raise their five children. Chris enjoys volunteering/coaching, and hiking whenever the chance arises.
Born and raised in Athena, Laura has small town blood running through her veins. She graduated from EOU with her Bachelor’s degree in 2011 and went on to put her management and marketing training to good use. Now back in the area, Laura is excited to be working for Wheatland Financial Services and have a career that lends opportunities for her to help her fellow community members. Laura is blessed to be a wife of a supporting husband and is a proud mother of one spunky three year old daughter.
Brenda is a life-long resident of Umatilla County. She joined the Wheatland Financial Services team in July of 1989. Brenda enjoys making quilts and camping with her husband, Kenny, with whom she has raised two grown daughters.
